In 2010, the consolidated revenues of the group of companies increased 28,6% year-on-year up to USD 113,746 million. Group’s consolidated EBITDA for the year of 2010 increased 57,8% and reached USD 18,608 million. UMH consolidated net income for 2010 made up USD 4,15 million vs. USD 4,173 million losses in 2009.
In 2010, all UMH businesses demonstrated positive EBITDA. For the first time performance was observed in the investment business – publishing in Russia and distribution. Company’s revenues in Russia have grown 39% to USD 48,859 million with positive EBITDA making up USD 0,614 million.
During the period of 2010 – beginning of 2011 United Media Holding Group of Companies has strengthened its leading position in the Ukrainian media market:
- UMH ranks first among Ukrainian publishing holdings in terms of auditorium of editions. UMH overall portfolio includes more than 50 successful brands.
- In March 2011, UMH initiated the issue of Forbes monthly business magazine within the framework of license agreement signed in 2010.
- After acquisition of Nashe Radio network and NRJ station, UNH radio group manages 5 network and 3 local radio stations. Holding’s listener share in Ukraine amounted to 31,3%
- After acquisition of KP MediaCompany, UMH has come out on top in terms of audience among Ukrainian internet holdings (about 48%). UMH portfolio includes more than 15 various internet projects.
In Russia, holding’s edition audience reached 6 million people. Telenedelya brand ranks 8th among all printed editions in Russia in terms single issue audience.
Currently company’s 2010 performance statement is being audited by Deloitte.
